never messed with anything with springs.shud i take em out and just cut bout 3 inches off the springs all the way around the car...lol...i want er low.anybody also got any tricks to makin sumkina roofrack fit these things.$300 bux just for mounts for a rack...screw that.im lookin at around 15-20 bux.maybe from home depot..somekina bracket idk.

hey lowering springs

if u cut the springs it will ride bad (like my bug haha)

and wont handle good

and it will prob wont be level

even with lowered springs your just asking to blow your struts, because the spring rate is still different and you run the risk of bottoming out the strut.

its plenty of work to take it all out and cut the springs, and you can get raceland coilovers for about 300 bucks, and sit it however low you want it and still ride decent.

i know cut springs are free, but fix it right while your in there, it will be worth it in the long run.
