I will be happy to get the interior primed and ready so I can start on the exterior.

Nice. And thanks for not posting pics so I won't regret selling her. Very Happy

Got the rear tray and floorboards coated with some Masterseries today. Still needs 2 more coats to be good.

Going to 'glass the rear tray since it isn't load bearing and still need to weld in a new battery tray.

Will put down Dynamat everywhere before the interior gets installed.

Started sanding the square down today. Looks like the entire car has been resprayed at some point. Found a gray primer between the 2 reds. Only found one little spot of bondo on the rear hatch so far.
The passenger side looks pretty good so far.
The driver side is going to be an issue, I already know so I am saving that heartache for next year! Wink

I was just looking for trouble spots so that is why it isn't real consistent looking.

Got the passenger side sanded down to check for issues. Looks like the front and rear fender have been repainted several times. 3 shades of red and 3 primers!

The front apron appears to have some bondo in it, but don't think it will be that bad because I can't see the damage from the back.

Need to get the driver front fender off and start repairs. It has the usual rust at the bottom and a nice creased dent in the top.

Picked up a new fender and door off the Samba from Rust Free California. I had my brother go pick them up and ship them too me.
Once I get those hung I can start blocking the car down for primer.

I still can't decide what to do about the front turn signals. I hate those massive stock signals

Yep. That's my issue. Welding it would be easy. Prepping for paint would be bad....
I'm checkin out some cool LED options to fill the gap in that shape...
