Drew had his court case about the ticket he got in Kennesaw on the 4th. We sat in there for 7hrs. But when we finally saw the Prosecuter, He didn't know about the law. So, I gave him the copy of the current law I found on the Ga. law website. After he read it, he said well done and put us before the judge and the judge didn't know about it either. So, he looked it up in his book. After reading his book, he looked up at us and said "I learned something new today". It was a great feeling walking out of that courtroom, triumphant. On the 74 tag wanted above, you'll only be able to put it on at shows or mount it on the front bumper, as the cut off is 1970.

Are you planning on registering it to your vehicle? I have one but it has been registered to a 66 beetle and they told us it couldn't be registered again. It's in nice shape.

Unfortunatley, I don't believe there is such a thing as a stamped 1972 tag. 71 was the last year they stamped the year into the tag. So in 1972, you just got a 71 tag with a 72 sticker placed on it, and then in 73, you just put a new sticker on it, and so on.

In 76, they did again stamp the year in the tag, but that was only for 1976, and each year after just got another sticker.

Well, you were just going to run it up front for looks anyways. You could still get one, it'd just be from another state. Alabama, Florida, Texas, Mississippi, and a few others had stamped 1972 tags.
