I called the tag officer yesterday and asked if I could run a 57 Georgia tag on my oval. The lady told me that I would have to get a new tag, but I could keep it inside the car and run my old tag on the back. She also said they would give me a letter to show the cops if you were stopped.

Kennesaw Police gave Drew a ticket for not having his current tag affixed to the rear of his car. He got the 61 tag registered at the tag office when he bought the current tag. He hasn't followed up on it yet, so, we don't know what's going to happen.

i've been pulled over twice so far for my tag...

I believe if these guys are gunna pull us over for breaking the law, they should know what the law is...

I have asked each of these officers to inform their colleagues of the law. maybe eventually the news will get around.

Take the tag, paper, new tag, and a copy of the law to COURT.
Make that idiot show up them blast him IN FRONT of the judge / other officers for not knowing the law...
That is what needs to happen, that would break him and get the word out.

He did have the tag and registration in the car with him. I don't think the officer even asked him about it and Drew didn't show it to him.

I suggest you keep the regular tag, the tag office form, the registration, and a copy of the law in the car at all times.
