Ok I love when some one comes up with something cool and this is it. I'd love to see this thing finished. Here is a good I dea for a Volks Rod! Loose the V8 though.

reminds me of that guy on thesamba making a 4 door limo baja bug. that guy basically cut two bugs in half, and welded them together to get 4 doors. pretty sweet looking, and a shit load of welding and metal work having to be done, lol. wonder if its the same guy, lol.

you are right Mike....that appears to be what he has in mind! note the roll cage and four link rear suspension with a solid axle. should look bad ass if he ever finishes!!!
