That is awesome, what about having the show on Sat. there? I'm sure they have a gravel/grassy area that we can set up a show that wouldn't cost too much.

Right now there is about a 95% chance it will be there on saturday as well,we have not signed the contract yet but intend to this coming week.If it works out there will be VW invasion friday night and yu buggin on saturday @ the ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY,,

thanks for all the support guys! we are working to make this one of the largest southeast shows... we gotta grow and this is a great way to start. we will be needing flyers designed and printed before Reynolds. Mike knows a guy who may give us a deal but if not we may have to call on some of you guys' photochopping and computer skills to help us design something....then hit up Office Max and copy copy copy!

For the VW Invasion at AMS on Friday 8/13

$20 for the show and shine (get to drive a few laps around the track)
$20 to drag race
$30 to do both

Will there be some flyers ready before feb,18. A group of us are going down to FL, and can hand out some flyers there.

This news really JACKED me up today. Great work guys, you are doing a great job.

o.k it's been a while so just a little update. i have spoken with Brandon at AMS and we are locked in for Saturday August 14 2010 for the 3rd annual Y U Buggin!!! as we posted before they are also hosting us Friday night for their show and shine and drag racing. the cost for our show will be: $10 to show includes one passenger...$5 if you present your ticket stub from Friday night. $25 for vendor spots. $2 spectator fees. we need some help with flyers...i dont have the '"SKILLS" to make one on the computer so if someone wants to volunteer i will be glad to sit down and help in any way i can. we have the venue guys..lets make THIS a show that everyone wants to attend!! i want people to plan a trip for this every year like we do for winter jam!

T-Shirt dude I was trying to line up is MIA. I need to get a copy of the YU logo that was on the shirts for the first show. It was on my old comp before it died.

Also... What's the word on camping? Where will the actual show be set on Sat? In the grass? If so where?

all camping will be handled thru AMS. you will have to contact the ticket office for that. not sure 100% where it will be just yet..he showed us two spots...one paved parking lot on the front right side of the track(airport side), and the grassy spot in front right next to the main rd. thanks again for everyones support.

I'm not very good with flyer making skills either, but for those who may be, what other info do we have on this to put on a flyer.

Any sponsors we need listed on the flyer (besides the awesome Aircooled Airheads!)

Reynolds is just around the corner!

we are going to start working on sponsors @ reynolds and after, If i recall correctly we are going to start at 9 and go to 5,as for the classes we are going to have a top 10,best engine,best paint,best interior,we are talking about makeing these a peoples choice,david and myself are going to meet up tommorow and start to get everything settled as far as all info,we will let you guys no more tommorow or thursday

If we camp at AMS will it be close to the show site or will be in a designated camping area? It would be nice to be close to the show site. Keep an eye on my stuff.

camping will be about 50 feet from where th show will be at,if you are wanting to camp please set that up with the speedway ticket office

I have been in contact with Hot VW's also .they have both of our events that is going to be in there coming events in section in the summer issue.I am trying to get the coverage for them to come out and see exactly what we are doing.
