Re: 2009 Bug Jam / Bulli / Kips Party
Just a note for you all! Maybe all will be cleared before you head down this evening
Just got this in my email through our Local news. Might want to check out online before leaving and see what is happening before you all leave. It seems that ALL LANES OF I-75 ARE CLOSED
"A semi-truck tanker is burning in the North bound lanes of I-75 between miles markers 97 and 99.
The Georgia State Patrol Cordele Post says all the lanes are closed as troopers are working the scene, but don't yet know about injuries.
Travelers should avoid this area of Crisp County and take alternate routes.
We don't yet know how long the Interstate will be closed."

Re: 2009 Bug Jam / Bulli / Kips Party
well after looking at the Ga Navigator site, only the 2 left lanes of the Southbound site are closed. But still I am sure there is traffic.
You guys have a safe trip!

The new car had a hiccup on the way down. Electronic ignition decided to go out. But after putting points and condensor in we were on our way again! Sitting in the hotel in bradenton right now about to go get something to eat.

Yes, there is a little bit more you missed on the trip home, but I'll let Bryce fill it in. Nothing big, just a few other unplanned stops!
Home at last. Had a great time with all the Georgia Dubs. Hope everyone else has a safe trip home.

Re: 2009 Bug Jam / Bulli / Kips Party
Pennie and I got home around 6pm. Will be kickin some ass later for some crap that went on at my house while we were gone. You young bastards show some respect to your elders would ya!
Nothing major on the way home, well blown tail light. Oh yeah did come up on Billie with another blown tire on the single cab just south of Tifton.
I really had a great time, it's always fun hanging with you guys. I could not have better club mates. Aircooled Airheads, Addicts you guys rock!

Re: 2009 Bug Jam / Bulli / Kips Party
Well I am finally home. We left this morning around 7:30 and got home about 4:30 so we made pretty
good time. This was my first year going to these shows and I had a BLAST!! This trip was so much fun and
I am ready for next year. Herbie made the whole trip without any problems which was awesome. I have
to say that I enjoyed the cruise down with everybody and hanging out as much as I did the shows.
It was cool hanging out with friends and making new ones. I will post some pictures soon but it will only be
some of them since I took over 500 pictures on the trip I will just post a link to the rest of them. Thanks
everybody for letting me be a part of this. Now it's time to start planning for Winter Jam

Like Gary said, we left aroung 7:30 this AM and rolled in this afternoon. I am pretty beat! Had a great time and will post some of my pics after I rest up. It will be good to sleep in a real bed again instead of a bus or hotel floor............
