Low & Slow 61 Beetle

Had a kick today to try and find my old 61 beetle. I posted an ad on the samba for information. Also finally found the phone number of the guy I traded it to. Well I got a reply a little while ago from him saying that he traded it to another party and gave me his email address. Now I am just waiting on a response from him. Maybe I might find it. Who knows I might even buy the old girl and bring her home.... (that is if I can find it and if it is for sale......) hahaha

Found the owner of the car. He is driving it every week. Glad to see someone enjoying it! Although it has no logos or w decklid....

It is in South Carolina.....Spartanburg....He invited me to come and check it out and his 70 other dubs. I may have to make a road trip....

I know Randy Snow pretty well. Elaine and I have visited with him and his Dad several times and he has visited with us. He has a bunch of Dubs including two nice Converts. I tradeded him a 31 Ford coupe for my green 70 Ghia. He is a good guy and has lots of parts also. THEY CALL ME SLIM JIM
