Re: 1969 Square
Georgia Dubs is a great forum. There are some great dubbers in the area and I try to pay it forward to everyone I run into. I would've done the same for Bryce or anyone else for that matter.

Re: 1969 Square
You are so right Eric. Eric(Fluxcap) called me today about a part he needed but I couldn't supply one for him. He calls me back later wanting to know if I needed anything from Lindy(Herrell Bug Parts) he was headed out to his place for the part he needed. He's picking up some door panel clips for me. Eric and I only live 10 mls or so apart. I went with my buddy Jimmy to pick up a '68 Bug down in Luthersville. I got bit by a ton of ants twice but I wouldn't think twice about going back again. This club is more than cars it's the People that own them! True that about Bryce and Glenn!
Re: 1969 Square
Moved Lara's square into the garage on Friday. I scraped and wire brushed the interior floors and got some of the crusty stuff off. Found a few small holes not accounted for on initial inspection. The batttery tray is going to take a complete replacement. I also pushed out the windshield and removed the seals around the trunk and rear hatch. A trip to Summit for some RustBullet is on my to do list.
Rear luggage area has a few more holes in it. None are bigger than a quarter.
Couple more holes found after scraping under the drivers side rear seat area. This is going to take some creative patching.
Put my had through the battery tray.
Pushed out the cracked windshield.

Re: 1969 Square
I just realized that I went and looked at this car. Funny that it still ended up close. It was a little more than I was prepared for so I passed on it. I know nothing about type 3's, so the rust scared me. Mainly the rust in the lip where the hood seal goes. Otherwise, it was a cool car.
