wow, is it really that bad? fenders may still be useable, take the cage off, and a new decklid, and that seems to be it. nothing un-doable. unless i'm missing something. but i have to agree with ya, i prolly wouldn't do that to my car, but to each his own i guess geek

I cannot stand when someone Baja's a beetle, but I think I like Baja's better than this 1/2 way attempt.
AND It has 4 lug wheels... Pan change?

At least a Baja has fiberglass front and rear fenders and hood and decklid, instead of just hacking away at the rear apron and decklid to fit a tri-mil exhaust and Baja cage

i saw this car in person on saturday, its over off of glenwood near East Atlanta Village at some vw repair shop. The body looked pretty straight despite the hack job. There was a sick lowered bay window there with some fuch's on it. I had no idead i would ever see this bug again. weird. There was also a pretty sweet looking volksrod there that was in the process of being built
