Suggestions on why car is lacking power.

David that was my first thought. I didn't think about that either. I had to double think it and look on the cooling tin to make sure. Really cool car.

I would take a crossed plug wire over a dropped valve anyday!!

I overthought it too. After removing the engine pulling the heads, having parts everywhere, who would off thought a simple thing such as a plug wire would have been the problem. I just thought my lack of experience was the issue. AND it was!
