All Georgia Dubs Members are invited to a July 4th Party at the Bender Compound.

You're invited to our July 4th Party at the Bender Compound. There will be Barbecue, Live Music by Hale Mountain, Swimming, Camping, Bonfire and much more. All ages invited.

Time: Come any time after 3:00 PM Saturday, July 4th. Band will start to play at 5:30 and food will be served at 6:30

Place: 8862 Hwy 166, Winston, Georgia 30187

Sleeping Arrangements if you choose to stay: We have tons of room for Tents, Campers and VW Buses.

Food: We will be providing pulled pork sandwiches, and hotdogs for diner and bagels, doughnuts and coffee for breakfast. This will also be a potluck style event so please bring food to share.

Beverages: We will be providing Cokes, Water and Beer

Activities: Swimming, Bonfire, Live Music, Horseshoes and Much More. We live on a private drive so if you kids want to bring their bikes, it will be safe to ride.

Fees: $5 per adult, kids are free. This is to help cover cost of BBQ, Drinks, Beer and Live Music.

Additional Notes: Bring Chairs, Picnic Blankets, and Canopies for your comfort.

Last year's party was a complete hit and we are shooting to make this year's even better. We have invited a great Rock n Roll band to play (Hale Mountain) and added a stage. We are also going to have the lower field open for VW bus and tent campers. One negative change from last year is that we will not be having a big fireworks show. Last year's show spooked our neighbors' horses, so fireworks will be reduce down to a small show for the kids. We hope you can all come and celebrate the 4th with us this year.

Sorry for the delay guys and gals. Here are some pictures from the 4th.  A big thanks to all who came out and the very tasty food dishes that were brought. We had a great turnout with good friends and superb music by Hale Mountain. Unfortunately we had to close down early because of rain and didn't get to fully enjoy the stage lights that Pete Chave setup or the fireworks. There is always next year.

Man, that looks like an awesome setting. I hope to make it next year.
