Jim "Herbie" Flanagan RIP

We sadly report the passing of one of our founding DKK members. Jim "Herbie" Flanagan passed away this morning 9-9-14 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah Georgia. Jim was a frequent attendee at numerous VW events in Georgia. He also could be found with his Herbie replica at numerous charity events around the Savannah area. Herbie was also a tremendous supporter of animal rights and served as a foster parent to numerous dogs until suitable homes could be found. Often adopting and adding to his family. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife Nancy and the rest of the Flanagan clan. Jim and his Herbie will be missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace our friend.
