has anyone took a flex plate off lately d,, d,, d,, s, s. s. h, h, h, h, s.o bleep I have no more skin on my knuckles

Taking them off is just the beginning.
Just remember you have to PUT THEM BACK IN...
I found that to be harder than getting them out.
Notice my handle is ASBUG, that stands for AutoStick BUG...
1st beetle was a 1972 Autostick, after 4 months of Hell getting it sorted out it was one of the most fun rides I have ever owned.
After owning and restoring an Automatic Stickshift every other beetle you own will seem easy to work on...
I wish I still had it, yours isn't a white beetle with a black interior is it?

its a 70 ghia a friend of mine well I take that back I don't know if I am going to let him be my friend anymore...Gary
flex plate bolts
the flex plate was bent one of the bolts was broke off and one of the nuts had been welded on good old fashion red neck rigging
