Let's see some of your previous VW projects
Just like the title says, let's see some of your old VWs. Air or water cooled, new or old all of them count. I know some have had near countless numbers while others have had 1 or 2, no worries, post up. Some work on these for a living and while they don't own the vehicles they pour a lot of themselves into each one, let's see em! I'll start off with a few of mine from over the last 10 years and add to it as I can.

Yeah, it was pretty quick. Everything fit under the decklid and rear apron and it was fun to surprise the unsuspecting!

Re: Let's see some of your previous VW projects
Here are some that were not mine, just projects I worked on for others...
Bugatti kit car.
This was pretty fun to drive, felt crazy because you sat behind the rear torsion housing and when the car turned you could pretty much see the whole side of the car. The big lever on the side is a functioning park brake. Pretty fun in good weather.

Re: Let's see some of your previous VW projects
This trike was....scary.
This was a automatic transaxle trike and the brakes just did not work good enough. When it was at high idle and dropped in gear it would not sit still even with the front and rear brakes on lol. I've driven a lot of VWs with no brakes but this was the most terrifying of them all lol

Here is a burn victim that was saved.
Fuel leak, probably at the carb inlet barb did this one in. The guy said he smelled gas then it burst into flames.

Pulled the engine and cleaned up the tin, replaced all the burned up stuff, repaired the harness, replaced the rear window and deck lid. The original engine survived and ran well.

Buy raceland coil overs.
Re: Let's see some of your previous VW projects
It just had lowering springs on german struts. Like these. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/H&R/Suspension/Springs/Sport_Kit_Stage_2/2293
you could get these and dial in the low..

or spend some more and get some nice stuff..

^cool! Here is a few of a 92 I had a few years ago, took it as payment for a engine job. Even had the window sticker. Other than the wheels it was 100% stock.
