Re: 1987 Cabriolet
Yeah. I really don't like the wheels. Probably look for some OEM wheels, keep it stock. It's blast to drive and the convertible top makes driving fun too.

Re: 1987 Cabriolet
Just want what I paid for them....$100....I bought them for the Cabrio but I dont want to go that way anymore. I was going to paint them black or dark brown to go with the car....They are 14s and will need some cleanup/polishing

Also replaced a pesky radiator hose, the one to the oil cooler. The amount of clearance there is very small!

Re: 1987 Cabriolet
Valve cover gasket was leaking so I upgraded it to one of the single piece rubber ones. While doing that me and John at Bugs4Christ painted the valve cover and belt cover.
Before
After
I also purchased a euro plate foe the front to add some class!

Re: 1987 Cabriolet
Good to hear it's still going.
I wanted to do something similar to that for Halloween last year.

Just recently the clutch went out on the rabbit, I got the clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, flywheel, water pump and timing belt done! It drives likes it brand new! Here is a picture of the old clutch.

Re: 1987 Cabriolet
Also replaced the old air filter today.
The replacement was a K&N filter! The difference between the K&N and the stock is a major difference!
