Beetles BBQ Sat. 21st

Hey everybody! It's cruise time again We will be cruising to Beetles BBQ in Woodstock next Sat. the 21st. We are meeting at Discover Mills as always between 10:00 and 10:30 with everybody ready to pull out at 10:30. I hope everybody will be able to make it and as always I look forward to seeing you all again.

Can't wait - finally have a weekend off so I can go on this one.

I'm plan on coming up from the southside so I won't make the cruise in from Discover Mills. What's the expected arrival time at Beetles?

I would say somewhere between 11:30 and 12:00, probably closer to 12:00

We were looking forward to this being our first cruise with the Aircooled Addicts, but I forgot the antique car swap and auction is this weekend in Birmingham at the fairgrounds. Last time I went, a sweet 64 notch went thru and was sold for 1300.00, I wasn't registered so I could not place a bid. This year I will be registered just in case.........

I really want to check out beetles BBQ but my bus is still out of commission. Can i show up in a Oldsmobile and not get made fun of?

Hey Gary, I have 4 in my party and I think this is going to be a large get together. Do you think we should give these folks a heads up? I can start a head count thread. Let me know.

***UPDATE*** I just spoke with Bill Beetle, the owner, and he was glad I called. The house seats 65 . If we have a big turnout be said it would take a while to fulfill all the orders. If we are indeed going to have a very large turn out he recommends that we have his set up a buffet for us. The only thing he mentioned is that it would probably run $13 a person. Hey guys, I will be in Powder Springs GA, tomorrow early in the morning to see my brother and family. I would like the address to the Discover Mills place where you guys will meet up. I won't be there in any of my VW's but I still would like to meet some of you guys and see some of the VW's. I have a NAV system so a street address would be better. Thanks

Some of the DripN Drivers are meeting at Starz and Strikes on Hwy 120 and Hwy 92 very close to Powder Springs. We are cruzin over to Beetles BBQ from there. If you didnt want to drive all the way up to Discover Mills then you can follow us over to the BBQ house.

Just got home and today was great. We had a great turn out with about 30 cars and the food was awesome. I hope everybody had fun and got home safely. Thanks to all that came out and joined us, we look forward to seeing everybody at the next meet. Pictures to come
