August 17th meeting

I'll be there for the wrenching, Kelly will likely stop by later for the chilling and grub!

Me and Leslie will be there... unless this thing for school hits.

Looking like it may be a little rainy. This car in a garage?? 

Yep. We should have plenty of room in the garage. Only thing that might be a problem is lighting. If anyone out there has any portable shop lights it might help.

Headed to the store tomorrow. I'll take care of the following:
Pulled pork
Buns
Potatoe salad
Baked beans
Banana pudding
Bottled water

If someone could pick up any of the following it would be great:
Chips (if y'all think we need some)
Ice
Some soft drinks or tea

Also, I have some chairs but it would be good to bring some fold up chairs if you have some available.

Got everything today. All I have left to get is the tubes of grease. Getting the butt rubbed down tonight so I can start it cooking tomorrow night!!! Picked up a pretty good size one at 10lbs!

Again, I have everything in the garage, but the lighting is a little bad in there so if anyone has a shop light (one of those cheap ones that clips on, or the big halogen type), it would be great. I have one drop down light the we have. Looking forward to this. Going to be a good time rain or shine!!!

Got the tank and carb pulled this afternoon. Looking forward to all that can make it tomorrow. Here is a preview of the grub....

i like big butts and I can not lie!!!

I had such a great time and just want to say thank you so much for all the help!!! Thank you Mike & Sonia, Bryce & Ashley, Peewee (Big pimp), Shaky, John, Eric (dirty britches), and Taylor for coming out. I know we were not ble to get it all finished, but I'm most happy about getting the brakes sorted out and the beam in.  I'll get the new tie rod ends and will get it all buttoned up soon.
I can't thank all of you guys enough for coming out! It is so great to be a part of such a great group of people!

I had a great time. Hopefully it'll get all finished up soon and you can test it out before the Callaway cruise. The food was great!!!
