Sound system

Hi there, I'm looking to get a sound system of some kind to install in a 66 bug & I was just wanting to see I anyone had any recommendations/advice on different brands?

I have always just put a saphire in the dash and put a plastic glove box made for a later head unit in the glove box with the one speaker in the dash and a couple of 6X9's in behind the rear seat. I have always had good service with this type of set up.
Close the glove box, throw a quilt behind the seat and no one knows it is there...

I did the glove box thing once. It worked ok but needed reinforcement after cutting. I have it still have it if you want to give it a try.its not pretty but works. As for the speakers I just put a good 6.5 behind the speaker hole and a simple rear deck speaker setup. You can easily put a box for a 10" or 8" sub under the rear deck wih an amp attached to the box for a little more low end.
