Roof Rack Trick ( NEVER SCRATCH YOUR ROOF AGAIN )

You need to go to Home Depot And in the hard wear isles look for the following parts
1/2 " Nylon Spacers With a hole in the middle a little smaller than the tabs on the feet that go in the gutters
if need be drill them to the diameter that you will need to use a rubber hammer to get them on flush
Then get electrical heat shrink tubing and slide over the Spacer and trim to your liking use a hair dryer to shrink the tubing



You can use any color tubing you want Harbor Freight is the cheapest for the tubing.

Pretty cool trick.

factory style braided fuel hose works well too

The problem with the braided fuel hose is that the braids fray real bad. This trick just looks clean.
