Finally after 9 months of excuses had to take it to a new shop and see the progress that the car is getting done. I think I will get my car back this year.

H apron has been welded in and the windows for adjusting the carburetor has been made. And a bit of welding and grinding to fix the old repairs.   

Nice making me miss my oval and split

I think as much as I love the Splits and the Oval. I would not build another one I would have to just buy one already finished. And that only because this was to be a 5 month project but it turned into a 9 month nightmare. Not one thing in 9 months has been fully completed. Thank god for someone that loves to build them. But I will never let this go. First Oval and found out it is a different ball game from the late models.

I feel u on that one. its alot cheaper to buy um built than to have them built.

Maybe you can help the last photo shows the dash just below the dash at the bottom is the hole for the fuel reserve. What is the hole to the right and just a little bit higher for?
