What is this? And what does it do, looks like there is an adjustment.

That's an adjustable spring plate- it replaces the standard spring plate and lets you lower or raise it without removing and re-indexing it

What! How awesome is that. Haha! Which way goes up or down?

Looks like if you screw in the screw it brings the plate down and raises the car

LBbedwell put those on when he had it. EASY to raise and lower! Wish I had sone just did not want to spend the $$
