A formal get 2gether needs be organized for new season

Ok,we need to have a formal get together to update members and info for this year.I am asking all registered members to contact any members that are not on here and try to have them register.Also it is in all members best intrest to line up together for a meeting before the VW season starts or at reynolds. Please contact me(Kale)Don or Big K (Peacebug)to help address a season opening get together.I would like to talk to everyone and go over some upcoming events and new ideas for the club as a whole.All other clubs welcome to participate.Please call me or leave some input on here so we can organize this function.Thank You all,Cant wait to see all my V-Buds this season. Let me clear that up- we've been offering a one time membership of $30 that includes (pays for) a window sticker and the current t-shirt. Additional stickers and shirts cost, but no annual membership renewals are required.

:R: I want to encourage ALL DD members to get in touch with myself or Kale, because we are growing and want to include as many members as possible in future decision- making. Kale and many others are cruising to the Winter Jam in Daytona- and most likely we will have our first official meeting at the Dyno Day/ Silver Dollar weekend.

I would like to think I could make it but I have tried to make it the last two years and didn't.

As far as I know Dyno Day and the silver dollar showdown has always been our main event

Its a get 2gether and formal is used loosely in this club you will find that out

so who is the secretary and who takes the minutes of the meeting. Do you vote officers in and set the clubs calender up for the rest of the year?

This is a drivein club we drive to shows
We have more like founding fathers as the backbone of this club
Our club calender is based around the SEVW Show circuit

thats how I like to work, planing in a few minutes before the actual event

As we have always said- the founding premise for the Dripn Drivers was to draw together our friends and DRIVE to the shows and events (as opposed to dusting off a trailer queen). We wanted a simple club, no sweat atomisphere. No big club formalities and BS. ( as in annual dues, etc).
We have grown after two years,and I don't think everyone has even met everyone else. I know I haven't! As we have grown, lots of new ideas have been brought to the table.......but lets call it a coffee table, not a conference table. The 'founding fathers' ( as Taylor called 'em) feel it is important for us all to get to know everyone else, and to give everyone a chance to voice their ideas too. As soon as possible.
Location?
Currently our club members draw from all sides of the ATL area, and even into Alabama. The OG hub that we formed around was probably Lindys shop. Thats where I met everyone. During the regular show season, the monthly Dallas cruise nights were always our informal 'regular' get togethers. This will continue this year too.
But we wanted to get as many as possible together ASAP, and felt Reynolds would be a good opportunity as it kicks off the show season in GA. for us dubbers.
As far as minutes, we wanted to go over new ideas members might have, and go from there. Pretty informal. Go figure! Hope this clears up a lot! If you are unable to attend Reynolds- please let us know what ideas, input or whatever you have, so it can all be put on the coffee table.
