It's green or was green. Not the red and white from Craig's list. Posting pics in the am. Have to figure out how to do it again.

The 1600 will likely have a 12volt flywheel, so if the bell housing hasn't been clearanced in the past, you will have to grind a little material from it.

I think you mainly just have to remove a little material from the four nubs where the engine mounting bolts pass through.
Maybe somebody before you has already done this. If not, just go slow and clean the shavings as you go. Try not to stay on one place to long, as there is magnesium in the transaxle case and it can burn!
And hurry up with the pictures

Looks like you have your work cut out for you. I bet there is some original paint under all that.
Keep the updates coming. I have some new Green metal if you want to get it locally instead of ordering.

I don't see any work that scares me. Going a different way this one. But the original colour was white. Can you pm what metal you have and prices? I hate ordering anything. The anticipation kills me.

Just to let you know, I've seen buses in worst shape than yours, end up as show vehicles!!! Keep up the good work and enthusiasm in doing it! It will be a nice ride when your done!
They don't make these anymore....................!
The before or after pics, add 20% to the value of the bus ; )
Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
