We just found this site and show! We would like to attend as a vendor/spectator...looks like good times!

Can we pay the vendor fee when we get there? Also, any feedback on how large this show has been in the past?

Couple things..

Bryce is there power on that stage that is in place? We will need power for the bans.

What is the charge for the Swap area and can I enter with a tandem trailer? Beam, Trans, etc, etc.

Sandra and I can't make it. I have family coming into town for a 50th anniversary celebration for one of my aunt and uncles. You guys have fun!

about what time are the addicts pulling out of wherever they are meeting up? I just want to ge tan approx. time of when i should meet up with yall. thanks

The plan is to meet up at Discover Mills between 7:30 - 8:00, and get on the road around 8:00.

awsome, so if yall leave around 8:00, according to google maps, it takes about 40 mins to get from there to 675 exit 7. So i'll be there around 8:30 or before, and meet up with yall, if thats cool. Can't wait

Talked to Bryce tonight (he's away from the internet) and got a few answers for you. Yes, you can pay the vender fee when you arrive. We would love to have you there! Last year was the first year for this show and I think it was a great turn-out for a first time show. Probably around 40 cars and quite a few people selling stuff. I think we even had one vender drive up from Florida. I think the GA VW community has gotten tighter over the year so I would expect a good turnout. Also, pets are ok, just clean up after them. We are planning to bring our furball Winston.

Bob, I think the vendor fee is a whopping $5. (that's from the flyer on page 1). Not sure about power, I think Bryce said he was going to check that out tomorrow. Shouldn't have a problem with your trailer either. I remember a few decent sized trailers were down there last year and it should be dried out pretty well by then.

Thanks Eric, Bryce called me. I'm still not sure about the stage area for the band but we will play either way. I hope we have 75 or more cars being shown. I'm entering Oh Bugga! See you fine volks Sat!!!

Online Aircooled will be coming up again from Florida. Clyde from Athens will also be vending. Checking on the power here in a couple of hours. Hours are ticking down now....

Today while driving, my oil pump decided to take a dump. It took me a sec to realize that the idiot light was on, and shut it off, but the damage was done. My mains are shot and so are the rods. So long story short, my motor is toast.

I will not be able to attend YUB, and i apologize to all whom i made plans with, but i need to find a running motor. If anyone happens to have a motor that is in good running condition, and preferrably cheap, that would be awsome. I can prolly head down to YUB to pick it up. again i'm sorry for the inconvienence, and i apologize to those who prolly won't see this message before tommorow. Thank you

Had a blast as well! A big thanks to Bryce for putting this show together. Great turnout with both cars and vendors and awesome weather! Definitely need to find a bigger place for next year.

Ride home was fun-filled too! First I had malfunctioning brake lights, then we came up on Mike and Jo (and the two guys in the bus - can't remember their names) who were having more seriouse brake problems with a locked up caliper. While stopped with them, a sherrif's deputy (in his patrol car, but in street clothes) asked if we needed help. We told him thanks but we had it, to which he said "good, cause I've also been at a graduation party and I'm going home"??? As if we were on our way home from a graduation party. Then a group of bubbely high school girls who were also coming from the same party stopped and asked us about scenic places to take pictures???.

Damn, everyone is breakin down, lol. JOIN THE CLUB!!!!!!

Didn't have a chance, another car came down the road so the girls had to take off to clear up the lane.

Just got in, our little group left this morning and made it back with without incident!! I will try to get some of the pics I took up later today if I don't fall asleep. It was a long weekend!
