Re: VW Meltdown 2009
We ahd a great time today and this was a awesome show. It was covered which kept us out of the heat and the show was run very well. Looking forward to going back next year. After the show we cruised over to Flips to eat and hang with some local "hot rodders".

The Aircooled Addicts made a nice showing with, I believe, six members in attendance. There were alot of nice cars, and several of them I have not seen at other shows. The swap area was pretty big and had some good deals as well. The after-show cruise to Flips was a little disappointing as most of the VW's decided to go home and only a small portion made it. Overall it was a good trip until........................

We were heading back to Birmingham for a few days and the Tranny decided to take a dump just a few miles shy of our destination. We flat-bedded on to my Dad's house and got a u-haul trailer on Monday. Came back last night and dropped the bus off at Stockornaut today. Waiting for the diagnosis from Dr. Billie..................
