Coopers Furnace off Hwy 41 Lake Allatoona/Etowah River. Burgers N Dogs with fixns. Sat Oct 13th 11 till....? Bring your Bikes Frisbees Cornhole Boards whatever you got. This area is large with frills pavillion and has plenty of room for us. Note what you can bring in thread. Thanks.

That'd be a lot closer than Helen for sure. Also, wouldn't be all the traffic to deal with either.

It's a real nice place with shade a pavillion and plenty of space. Me and the family go there ocassionally. So now we need to figure out the date to have it. Preferbly When weather cools down.

Yep that's the place Keith. Just under the Allatoona Dam.

It's a nice place to have a cookout and goof off for the day. CornHole ,frisbee ,whatever. There's plenty of space.

It appears some of our members are planing on goin to the Heritage event instead of our once a year club function. If any of our members are planing on goin to Heritage VW on Oct 13th I am goin to cancel our club function as I have money invested in doin our club event.,Members Please let me know if you plan on goin to other event so some other date can be arranged if needed. Just don't want to have a bunch of food and drinks made if people end up not showing up. Please let me know. Thanks, Kale

Kale, If some of the members are wanting to go to the Heritage event, couldn't they or maybe all of us cruise down to that event from the campgrounds. Personally, I had just rather stay at the campgrounds. Fuel just costs too dang much to be driving all over the place.

I will just cancel it. I was trying to get us together again for our own thing We can cruise to shows other times. This was gonna be a all day cook out and get together for us. Oh well I tried....

Sorry Keith,everything was free for this function too. I don't plan on changing the date. I just don't feel people are showing enough intrest for a club function. I just wanted to treat all our members to some free food n drinks.
