If i cut across and come out Gwinnett hospital is on my left,pass Home Depot, I can go straight out to 85 or after home depot take a right at that big intersection(cant remember the road name) that comes out right at Discover Mills and Bas pro right?

That sounds right. I think your talking about coming down Suwannee Dam and passing Home Depot (it would be on your left). Then the next intersection is 20 and you would turn right and that would take you straight to Discover Mills. We actually meet in front of Bass Pro Shop. I'm gonna be headed up there Sunday morning to meet you guys. At this point, I'm not sure the Jolly Rancher is going to make it. I need to do some work to the brakes and front bearings and I'm still waiting on parts. My dad Has is bug back together with fresh new discs up front and will be joining the AirHead convoy so if I don't get the bus done in time, I'll be riding with him. Last year, this was a pretty cool/relaxed show. I'm looking forward to it again.

Not sure about that. He's coming from Social Circle. He'll come through Loganville, Grayson and into Lawrenceville where he'll pass by Gwinnett Medical "Gwinnett hospital is on my left", cross 316, Home Depot on right and make a right on Sugar Loaf Pkwy and Discover Mills will be on the left.

Yeah thats it. Its been awhile since ive been past the hospital and out that way. Is alittlemore senic than running the interstate all the way around,even tho my car likes interstate speeds.

Yeah they look suprised. Ive got 31s on the rear and a rancho freeway flyer, so i can come by around 80. I go back and forth to atlanta so 70 is a min. speed. I had a new beetle pull up beside me one day i had snaked thru some trafic and he was trying to catch me(no turbo of course) They were all waving as to go ahead so i ran them down i20 by stonecrest up to about 100 on the speedo and backed off. I had their attention.

Glenn I dont know if I will make it to the Sonic because I will be staying in Rex/Ellenwood tonight. If you are coming the interstate I can meet you on 675 but if you go the backroad then I can just meet you at discover mills.

If we get rain, there will be plenty of places to get out of the rain. At least for people. We'll have several E-Z ups as well as Joey's shop.

Come hungry, we have lots of dogs and burgers.

The plan is to take the interstate. It's easier to stay together. Too many lights on the surface streets to keep a long chain together. Route will be 75-675-285-85-Bass Pro...then follow Gary and crew. No idea at this point if anyone is going to show @ Sonic. Convoy could consist of me and dad in his Super. I haven't had time to do the brakes on my bus so it won't be making the trip this time.

Bryce, I'll call you when we hit 675 and you can pick us up as we roll by.

We'll be leaving Sonic @ 8:00am sharp.

Sounds good. I will leave here at 8 and be on the side of 675 waiting (after the ellenwood exit)

Just wait on the on ramp and I'll ring ya just south of the exit. That way you can get a running start.

Atlanta and areas south of Atlanta look wet this morning, but there is no sign of rain anywhere around Gainesville.

The forecast says only a chance of scattered rain there today.

Thanks to all who helped today. It was very smooth and a lot of fun. Thank you Beth for selling food all day long. Thanks to Steve, Rick, Joe, Bob, and James for helping with burgers, dogs, grease removal, and yellow jacket annihilation. Thanks to Clyde for all his running around to get all our supplies and getting set up this morning. If I missed anyone, I don't mean too, just lack memory as I age.

Thanks to Ken Graham (even though he never comes here) for being trash can dumpin man.

Joey did a great job having the shop clean and ready.

A really big THANKS to everyone who came out even though it looked like rain. The rain held off and the weather was nice.

Just got home. Had a great time! Only downer on the trip was the rain and 10 car pile ups on the way home, but we made!
