Tannehill Bug Blast August 25, 2012, Birmingham, AL

Held at beautiful and historic Tannehill State Park, 12632 Confederate Parkway, McCalla, AL 35111
9am-4pm

This event is open to Volkswagens of any type, any year, any condition, air and water-cooled.

Awards will be given to Top 25 Show Cars with Special awards for Best of Show, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Hippiest, Best Patina, Club Participation, Best Campsite.

Camping is available on the site and elsewhere in the park with fees dependent on the type of site.

Event Fees: $15 day of show car entry ($10 pre-registration), $25 new part vendor space, $5 swap meet space.

No spectator fee however there is a fee to enter the park.

I will most likely be attending this one again.

I am def gonna try this year,its been a few yrs since I have been.

I'm def going again. Last year I sold over 400 bucks in parts........

One of my favourite shows of the year.....we're definitely going!

Had a great time last year. My only regret was not bringing my bike.

Haven't been in a couple years but it's always been a good show

I went last year and have several years ago and have always enjoyed the show and camping.

I went last year and plan on going this year. Its a great show with decent swap and excilent camping.

Its a Great show...Need to get a cruize up !

Sound's like a kool show

This is a very laid back show with great camping. Looks like we are going to head down Friday afternoon if anybody wants to tag along.

Unfortunately I will never be able to attend this show again since it falls on my babys 1st Birthday this year. Maybe the years to come will be a week before or after her bday. I really enjoyed this event last time I went. Guess we will have to see.

Amy and I plan on going, Had too much fun camping out in cherokee and ready for some more camping. Heading out about 3 from griffin.

Hwy 16 to I 20 , I'd rather avoid 285 on fri afternoon.
