New Squareback...

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Im Kelly and Im the new owner of Brandons 71 squareback. My wife has always wanted a squareback and not being able to afford one that runs I picked up Brandons as the new project. Not knowing how my wife would react to a half sanded vw full of parts, sitting on 2 flat tires on a car trailer I took the chance anyway and brought it home. She was blown away when I pulled up to the house. Her first comment was "when can we tear it down and start working on it"? I love this women!! So now it sits in the garage, windows out and slowly getting the body work done. She wants to keep it stock looking but who knows what will happen down the road. I look forward to attending meetings and picking everyones brain on this new journey. I can feel the addiction starting already! Also if anyone can breakdown how to upload pics for me that would be great!

Welcome to our little corner. To load pics, you'll need to get a photobucket acct or the like, or you can upload your pics on facebook. Once loaded copy the image url code then click on the box, above where you type your message, that looks like a poloroid picture. Then you can paste that url in that pop up box, hit ok and then hit send to post it.

I like to use photobucket for my pictures. Do the upload process, which is pretty straightforward, then look for the IMG code after the upload is done.
The IMG code will look like this. You can simply copy and paste that code directly into your post

My wife has always been mildly interested in my VWs at best. Now that she has a 69 Squareback as her daily driver, she is even coming to the club meetings.

Forget the squareback, I love the Toyota! I had a FJ55 for a while and just finished a FJ45 look alike for my brother. I also have a squareback. You'll love it! Welcome
