Watkinsville Christmas parade Dec 3rd 2011

This year's Christmas parade is Dec 3rd. Plan for it now. More details as I get them.

The theme this year is: I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas in Watkinsville.

We line up on Depot St. just as we have for the last few years. We are the head of the line for antique cars this year.

Line up 0n Depot St. starts at 10:00am. You can go straight to Depot St. or meet at the Watkinsville McDonalds at 9:00 like usual.

Please remember that our cars need to have some sort of Christmas decoration on them. You don't have to go crazy (but you can), but the parade organizers do ask for more than simply hanging a wreath on your mirror.

Had a great time at the parade today!! And for once it wasn't really that cold.........

Yep, I think that makes two years in a row now........

Korbin and I had a great time. Every year just seems to get better. I ran out of candy about 3/4 the way in. Maybe next year I will pack a reserve bag. Thank You Clyde for hosting the after Party in your new house, the barbecue was very tasty, I had to go back for seconds. Thanks for all the compliments on the chalk bus art. I get a kick out of doing it every year.

James, I'm glad you got some pics of the parade. It is hard to do from the front.
