So me and Matt (with the blue 65 notch) are trying to leave out of Rome by 9:30 - 10am ish. We are going the scenice route. Not sure who is leaving at that time, and from where, but if anyone wants to caravan we will be heading that way. Short notice, but wasnt sure when we could leave. I am sporting a week old engine that we just finished. It has been a long time since I have went the long way, but maybe we can catch up with some of you.

Awesome, who can pick me and Glenn up at Gatlinburgh airport on sat? By the way, seat open on our cessna to fly up sat am and return before dark, just share avgas expense. Anyone?

How early will y'all be landing? We're planning on getting to the show pretty early Saturday to get a decent space.

Sorry Kale, i couldnt tell you. we haven't been over to the show area yet. Probably wont get over there until tomorrow to scope out the show area.

We are leaving my house in Dallas at 7a.m. How long did it take yall ? Yall go thru the smokies? That's the way were coming up.....6 of us. Usually 4 hrs from here in a domestic car.

It probably took us about 5 hours of driving. We went up 85 to 985 to 441 through the smoky mtn park.

We will be leaving Saturday morning. Just gonna make a day trip out of it and come home that evening. Good luck to all that are driving and I hope you all make it trouble-free
