Halloween Camp out

This Saturday! I am thinking leave Griffin around 10....? Also if you are doing the zip lines on Sunday lets get together on a time so we can reserve it. I was thinking about just doing the first tour $49 per person.

I'd be up for doing the ziplines early-ish on Sunday. Not sure what the plans are for Saturday, but I'd also be up for doing them Saturday afternoon as well.


Alright...everybody who chimed in earlier....y'all still up for this??? Should be fun! There's a big open field in front of the camp sites for some football, soccer, frisbee, drag racing, etc... Assuming the grass has been cut recently. I think they usually use it for flying r/c planes.

are dogs allowed at the camp me an my pit boxer might ride the zip line i no tracy wont she gets scared standing in the back of a truck

Leashed pets are allowed at the camp/park. Not so sure about on the ziplines though

Anyone have any firewood they could bring?

I am going to bring hot dogs, sausages and some chips to eat on Saturday night.

Lets meet at Home Depot in Griffin. Depart at 10. Eric we will pick you up along the way just let us know.

Cool, I can bring some buns if we'll need some for the hotdogs. I'll try and find some wood, but I'm tent camping, so the car will be kinda full and can't really fit much in it. Lots of gas stations around here sell wood. Maybe there is one close by that sells it.

Looks like y'all will be coming down hwy 16 for the last leg of the trip. I'll meet you guys at the corner of Hwy 16 and Macedonia, there is a Food Lion we can meet at.

Looks like we may take the 4Runner as well as the bug. I'll try and pick up some wood while we are out today.

Ok, just bought $18 worth of firewood (6 bundles), so we should stay warm. Can somebody else get the buns?

We have 12 pack of buns we are bringing but we may need a few more.

Had a great time! You guys missed some good camping. We postponed our zip line adventure until..... It was cold but I stayed nice and warm in the bus and by the fire.

Wished I could have gotten there while it was still daylight and been able to stay. Glad y'all had fun...

Thanks Tim and Heinz57 for stopping by. Definitely have to do this again when it's a tad warmer and do the ziplines. We had an awesome campsite that could have fit a lot more tents/cars. Also found out that if you are camping, the $3/car fee does not apply (at least they didn't charge us for it yesterday). Just paid the cost for the site and that was it. Also, they have pre-cut firewood for FREE, just take however much you need!
