My 1997 Jetta GT
Hey Guys! I have been wanting a Jetta for a while and looking really hard the last several weeks. Well I finally found one I like and brought it home today It is a 97 Jetta GT 5spd with sunroof. Interior is in great shape and so is the body. One trim piece is off but I have it and just need to figure out how to put it back on good. There is a couple other trim pieces about to come off so I will fix them as well once I figure out what to use. It has the 2.0 engine and runs great.
Don't worry I still have my Ghia I just wanted a Jetta to go with it and enjoy both. All I have done to it so far is wash the outside. Future plans are of course to slam it and rims.

Looks like a nice one. I guess this will become your daily driver so you can slam the ghia?

Picked up a nice set of wheels off Craigslist today for $75 for the set. Now just need to save up for some tires.

I had a red 95 Jetta, same body style. Looking at your sweet ride makes me wish I never sold. Paid 14,200 brand new.

Re: My 1997 Jetta GT
I found an art print I really liked an decided to have it printed out and put on my Jetta. I know... a little wierd. I like it though and I think it turned out pretty cool. It is a picture of Jesus face made from words that name or describe Christ

Re: My 1997 Jetta GT
I installed 2 brand new headlights and added some more vinyl. I was originally going to sticker bomb the front fender but thought it would be cool to do something totally different. This is what I came up with....
