New clutch cable sucks... Empty New clutch cable sucks...

I have a new clutch, new throw-out bearing, and a new clutch cable. I had to max-out the threads just to get the clutch to disengage. In order to NOT punch a hole in the firewall with my pedal does anyone have a secret to shortening up the travel? PLEASE HELP ME Shocked

i put a nut in between the arm in the tranny and the wing nut

Another way would be to remove the clutch arm and move it back one spline also? I believe its splined all the way around.
