correct throw out bearing? Empty correct throw out bearing?

when i order my clutch kit i am not sure which T.O bearing to order....the engine is from a 70 Bus...the trans is from a 71 Bus. all the kits i have seen are different between the 2 years. any advice???

if the trans is a 71 id get the later style throwout bearing- engine year doesnt matter. If you get the later style throw out. use the pressure plate without a collar

i think it has something to do with the muffler bearing ,make sure they match

ok so i should just order the kit for a 70 model with the old style T.O. bearing? just wanna make sure so i don't have any issues...i ain't pullin the motor back out AGAIN!!! if something else goes wrong this thing will be gone from here...lol! Twisted Evil

if the tranny has a collar around the output shaft order the 71 kit.....if no collar then order the 70 kit

it HAD a guide that bolted to the trans with 3 bolts, that was ripped out with all the other guts!! i found the guide and a clutch kit on CIP1 website but they ask which style T.O Bearing i need...early or late...up to 70,71 and up.

you need to get another guide and then get the 71 (later style) throw out bearing
