Was looking on wsbtv.com this morning and they had a painting of a beetle as a preview thumbnail for a slide show of the Atlanta Arts Festival. It caught my eye so I scrolled through the slide show and also this was at the festival:

Horrible fate for such a cool car (being either painted or wrapped in a goofy peace graphic for an advertisement), but at least it looks to be being taken care of.

All of that brushed on thick paint is probably keeping rust away- just sayin' cheers

It is out and in the public eye. Much better fate than being stuck in a garage or sitting in a field because the owner "is going to get to it someday." Just my opinion.

Saw Geek's younger brother on the way home today. About 4:30pm on I85, stayed with him from the airport to the Newnan exit. Pretty sure it was a late 66. Had Fulton co tag. There were a couple of times we were doing 80mph right next him and he had no problem pulling away from us Shocked

Hwy 54 @ county line near PTC, saw a dark maroon Bug, small windows, with 5 spoke Empi's. We saw each other and waved. Never seen it before.

When: 9/24/12, approximately 3:55pm

Where: Hwy 54 @ Coweta/Fayette Co. line

What: 58-64 Bug, Maroon, Empi 5 Spokes, lite tint on windows.

My dad said he saw some guy in a beige/white bay in PTC this afternoon. Said he passed by him pretty fast but he's pretty sure the driver had a pokemon tattoo.

When: 10/9/12

What: White Jetta 4 Door, Lower'd, Roof Rack, lots of stickers on the front of the wind deflector.

Where: PTC Hwy 54 headed towards Fayetteville.

Saw a green/ blue bug, had some black stripes on the side, lowered, and had loud exhaust, passed me on 85 south. I think I was near Lagrange.

Saw another bug, super clean, yellow, convertible, shortly after in Alabama.

I'm currently on 75 south, round exit 224. An RV (Fleetwood flair) just passed me pulling a green bug via a tow bar, had some stickers in the back window of the bug, and had those magnetic tow lights on the bumper. If that's you reading this, I was the big ass orange schneider semi truck who honked and waved, XD
