Tech Day/Bonfire November 1st

I am going to host a tech day and a bon fire for those who would like to attend. Saturday November 1st. Everyone is welcome!

Tech starts any time after 1
Bonfire starts just before dark
Ends ?

Generic Directions:
I-75 exit 205 GA 16. Go west until first red light High Falls Road and take a left (Shell Gas Station will be on the corner). Take a right on the road next to the gas station Mangham Road. Go until it dead ends then take a left Rehobeth Road. Go about a mile and take a right into subdivision Runaway Lakes. (If you come to a stop sign before seeing the subdivision then you have went too far) Then take the first left Runaway Lane and look for 121 on the right.

All I ask is to maybe bring something for the bon fire as we will be cooking out. (Drinks, Chips, Dogs, Buns, Marshmallows....)

What all are you planning on doing for the tech day?

I dont know. If someone needs something done i.e. valves adjusted, oil changed, tune up, set timing with light, check dwell, brakes adjusted, some degree of wiring done .... we can do it. Shoot if we run out of stuff I can always start building a beam....

If I can find some supplies I may even start on a downhill racer....

I am getting a box of 40 big dogs and buns for the bon fire.

Saturday is looking to be a nice day. Sunny and a high around 70. Hope to see some of you folks there.

I hate that I am gonna miss it. Looks like a beautiful day for it.
Not to mention I need some technical help probably more than any1!

Yea lookin bad for me as well. I have a night shift. Not going to get off till 11pm.

Need a few more hot dog buns if any body wants to bring something.

Thanks to everyone that came out. Thanks for all the drinks and food everyone brought. I had a good time. Hope everyone else did! We will do another maybe next month just check back.

I had a good time. Got to see a successful windshield install, shoot the breeze about vw's, and meet a few new people. Car made it home perfectly without any of the idle issues I had on the way down.

Maybe in December IDK yet but I will figure it out real soon. Glad you enjoyed it but you missed the fire.

Good to meet you too. Your car is awesome. Hope the knocking you heard on the way down turns out to be an easy fix. Did it knock any more on the way home?

nah it didnt the fan plate was loose but it ran home like a champ thanks , see you soon
