Re: Madde the 67 beetle
From center of spindle to bottom edge of fender is 22" and that is with it off the ground. So it will be a little less when it's on the ground.

The plan as of now is to put in a 65 bus tranny with redux boxes. should be pretty close to matching the front.

Cave Man, This one is going to be a driver and going to be for sale when I get it going. The plan is to build this for sale to finance Elke, my bay window bus project.

Where is the rest of the pan for the thing? cant you put Bug pans in it and run the thing pan without going to the redux boxxes?

Re: Madde the 67 beetle
Yes you can put bug pan halves into a thing chassis, cause i've done it before. You're right about the front end coming from Michael.

Re: Madde the 67 beetle
I've never been a big fan of body lifts. I think it doesn't look good and really the only gain is a little taller tire. Alot of work for maybe an inch of ground clearance.

Got the bus rgb tranny bolted in and started mocking up the spring plates. Anxiously waiting to see her back on the ground all high and mighty.
