Re: 1966 Euro Squareback
This is mine now!
I will take some pics of it whenever I get a little sunshine around here..... which it looks almost the same except for a wheel change and some wet sanding and buffing that has just begun

Re: 1966 Euro Squareback
After a wash and wet sanding with 1000 and 2000 then buffing with 3m rubbing compound and a quick wax
Even the primer on the hood and the blue underneath shined up
Re: 1966 Euro Squareback
The wheels may go on another car if I can get my other wheels to fit.....stay tuned!
I still have a lot of wet sanding left but I will get it. I have gotten my new rear wheel cylinder as I broke the bleeder off in the old one. I hope to install it tomorrow and bleed the brakes back out.
I also have a quiet pack ordered for it cause it needs an exhaust.
If everything works smoothly and everything goes on quickly there is a chance that I drive it to Lagrange but don't hold your breath.....

Just a sneak at what wheels will go on but don't worry the sprints will be going on another car very soon......had to prop the wheel up since I don't have it setup for 5x130 yet.....

Re: 1966 Euro Squareback
Well finally got some drums to use with my adapters for the rear. Still have to pick up some brake shoes and wheel cylinders since I downgraded. First mock up a success!
I picked up porsche drilled rotors for the front so that will be an easy change out whenever I get to it. I also fitted the new header and quiet pack. I love how it tucks away!

We will see when I get it all mocked up

Yeah wide five beetle brakes then adapters gave the spacing I needed!
Re: 1966 Euro Squareback
Got the 17's on after a bunch of massaging on the rotors.... I will try and get some pics tomorrow if I make it home in time.
Probably going to have pull the tranny and fix the side plate leak. May just go ahead and get a rebuilt unit to go in. I want to get the car running and drive it around the block before I take it apart so I can see if it needs anything else.
