My thoughts or yours

Well I found a 69 baja in dalton in a guys back yard, now its got good pans and some rust on the body but hey, now the kicker is the trans and block are in the bug and the rest of the 2100cc!!!! is apart in the back seat needs to be put back together and probably cleaned (alot)
Im thinking of buying it and puttin the 2100 in my 73 and selling the body and chassis. from what i gatherd from my vw hunting guy is that its in pretty good shape except for the motor not being together and in a million peices..
ready for this!!??? $500.00 GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!
if anybody is intrested in the body ill be home next weekend to pick it up and will post pics.

Well, there is probably a reason that engine is in a million peices. Was it previously assebled or is it a rebuild that just never happened? If it has been broken down, there was a reason for it and that would raise a couple red flags in my head. If I were you, I would look into a new set of clys and pricing some head work.

Good thinking! I think it was taken apart to be rebuilt, I will deff. keep that in mind when i go look at it in person
