Anybody here going to the Charlotte transporter Show this weekend? I am not able to make it, and have some parts I need picked up. Was hoping that someone local was attending and could deliver/pick up some parts for me?
Thanks

Re: Charlotte transporter Show
They're here. They stayed in the van during the hurricane winds and sleet Saturday night at the dragway My two EZ ups (with 4 flywheel anchors) went sailing 30 feet, while I was trying to sleep under it. Thank God it didn't hit anything. The twisted mass kinda looked like two handicapped spliders mating under a flagpole.
I've got a ton of parts do dry off, oil, and re-bag. What a night.

Re: Charlotte transporter Show
Wasn't dought'en ya Dig, I've been looking at Bay stuff and happen to see it on the Kustom Coach Wreks site. Bummer for sure, but it is just bruised a bit. I'll never dolly one after seeing this. Congrats by the way for the pic in HotVWs. Very cool! One last thing, I'm not avoid'en ya either, somehow we've missed each other the last two shows, Reynolds and BAP.DiggerD wrote:This is the same one that is on the Samba thread. Re: Charlotte transporter Show
Evidently this was not the first time a bus and a tow dolly had it out.....
Seems that the weight distribution of a bus is not very compatable with tow dollies. I think this would be a problem with any rear engine vehicle on a tow dolly. It is probably close to the tolerance point so thats why you don't hear of it happening all the time, but a gust of wind, evasive manuver, etc. and you end up with this..
Bob, I didn't think you were doubting, some people post on several forums. Thats just where I remembered seeing it.
