SECOND SATURDAY MEETING...MAY 8TH

Are we having a meeting this month and if so...where? i would like to suggest somewhere in Griffin, it is central to McDonough and Fayette/P'tree City. lots of locations to choose from also...just puttin it out there?

I wouldn't mind meeting at city park in Griffin as it has lots of shade and things to do...That is if everyone else wants too....?

Also on Saturday we are planning on going to Hawks Junkyard off of Birdie Rd. Lots of cool old cars and quite a few VW's.....


Then after the regular get together I am heading to Wise Guys in Griffin in the Wal-Mart parking lot for the local hot rod cruise in. Anyone else want to go?

Hawks junk yard before the 2:00pm meet or after. And I'm going to need some address for the park and junk yard if it's before the meet. Super Hero, Alex,me and maybe another buggy will be there.

I think it's called Griffin Municipal Park. The "what's here" option on that map said the address was:

601 Camp Northern Road, Griffin, GA

i should definately be there. Might even bring along a buddy of mine, assuming we can get his bus running tomorrow. its a 77 bay bus. he says its got a fuel leak somethere, but not sure where. I've never really messed with bays, or those pancake motors before, but hopefully we can figure it out. is anyone familiar with bays? if so, are there any known places where they tend to leak gas? its a 2.0 motor, thats been converted to carb. (weber progressive i think).

arghhh....I may not be making it afterall. Started class on Tuesday and have a ton to do. Class is only 5 weeks long so it's a bunch of crap and very little time to do it all. I'll see how it goes the next couple of days, but not looking like I'll make it.

Just a reminder we will be meeting at the Griffin Park instead of McDonough on Saturday.

Not gonna make the park. Amy leaving town on Sunday so I have to go shopping(UGH) and dinner on Sat. for mommy's day.

I'm gonna try to make it to the park at least. I'd like to go to the junkyard, too (I know the owner real well from my old NAPA days) but I don't know if I can make it that early.

Alright, I'll have a little free time tomorrow so I'll meet ya'll at Hawks and do a little scavenging. But that will be all I can make it to as I have to write a paper . Car still isn't running yet either so I'll be in the toyota Went to Herrells today to get my new header and muffler only to find only the header had been delivered . Hopefully the quietpack will arrive soon. Also talked to Keifernet and he should hopefully get my carb and distributor finished next week. So hopefully I'll have the bug running for next months meet!

Sorry guys not going to be able to make it out toanything down that way today. Got to do somethings with the kids and won't be free untill after 5pm This is going to be a ruff one I always look forward to you guys get togethers. See you'll later

well i made it out,a little late, but i made it. was'nt able to stay as long as i wanted, we did dinner for mothers day because i have to work today. it was nice to see those of you who made it out, i met a couple new faces and saw some nice cars as usual.
