April 10th Meet

Where are we meeting this weekend? May I offer up Heritage Park as a cool place to hang out. Just a couple miles down from the square and less of a chance to get run over.

Are you guys meeting at the square and riding to the park,or just meeting at the park where ever that is lol!!! Is it close to the square?

Park is about 1 1/2 miles east of the square.

From I-75 continue East through the square on GA81. Drive about one and a half to two miles further on GA81. On the left you'll see a covered pavillion with bleachers. Just past that is a McDonalds also on the left. Turn left on Lake Dow road just before you get to Mickie Ds and make the first left into the park parking lot. Good place to bring kids, pets, and dubs.

Malik I believe you come from the north on GA20. Instead of turning right and going towards the square, continue straight until you get to GA81 (just on the other side of CVS and RiteAid) then turn left and look for the pavillion down the road.

sounds cool to me. they are having the first Wise Guys Cruise-In at the Wal-Mart shopping center in Griffin that evening...it would be great for some of us or all of us to show up there.

2pm is the standard meet time. I have to work so I won't show until 3:30 or so.

I'd love to cruise to the Wise guys show as well.

I'm also headed to Stockornaut for the cruise tomorrow. If anyone want's to head up there with me or needs any small trinkets (driving the buggy) I'd be happy to pick them up.

Normally that would be cool but most of us will be @ Bugapaluza that weekend.

Damn, we were going to see if anyone wanted top go to the Drive-in...should be a great night for it.

Coming home, we took 81 out of mcdonough through lovejoy and into fayetteville. Well, on 81, just about a mile past the Mcdonough Toyota Dealership, we saw a split window camper bus, a mid sixties beetle, and a late model beetle in someones yard. They had another muscle looking car also and it had a for sale sign. I though about getting the number and calling to see if the bus was for sale, but I don't have any spare funds right now, so I didn't.

Oh, and nice to see everyone today! I got burnt in the sun.

I got sunburnt too, but I had a great time, it was nice meeting everyone!!

enjoyed seeing all the kewl cars,and nice folks.wish my old car was as nice as the others there.
smash,did you get the fan shroud to heater box hose on? those are very inportant in keeping your motor cool.
i would suggest finding a stock air cleaner too.those little donut air filters dont really flow well enough.i dont have a spare,or i would give it to you.
