I have done some online research after seeing a promo for the RP oil filter and so far these seem to be a very very reliable filter for all and especially for those like myself that run a full or partial synthetic oil.

And last year at Jake Raby's technical weekend, I sat through a class with Charles Navarro (LN Engineering) on oil and more specifically, oil in our aircooled engines and the man has done his research and testing and knows his stuff. Here is a link to some of his data.
