Re: Cosmetic Changes
Still can't read crap. 6X6" Firefox logo centered in along the left side of my browser doesn't help either. Could be just the POS work computer.

bumblebee, please explain the Firefox logo. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Re: Cosmetic Changes
Make sure you are not zoomed in or out on your work computer. on my computer, if you zoom out, it makes all the smileys look messed up. just hold CTRL while you flick the roller button on the mouse, and it will zoom in and out. at the bottomof the web page, on your browser, it should say what its zoomed at (100%, 95 %, etc.). if thats not the problem, then i have no idea, lol.

Re: Cosmetic Changes
Would anyone be interested in having a georgiadubs.com email address? yourname@georgiadubs.com. I'd have to set up each one manually, but it could be a cool thing.
I'd like that. I think it'd be cool. Sign me up.

Re: Cosmetic Changes
and i also like the blips next to the topics like they are now (where the white flag means nothing new, and the yellow flag, means a new post has been written). much easier to see versus, the white / red blips.
and yes. avatars on the left are much better. the site is lookin awsome!!!

Re: Cosmetic Changes
one last suggestion. I would make the site a fixed width.
When its fluid like this it makes it really hard to read post- especially on larger monitors.

I tried this at 1000 wide, but when a user adds a large image to their post, the image is cut off. I think being able to scroll horizontally to see the image is important. Best if you just re-size your browser.

Re: Cosmetic Changes
what about "Bryce's smileys"? i really miss the "rockit" emoticon. it really expressed a wide variety of emotions, unlike that of the others.

There's a drop down menu above the smileys that says "view more emoticons". Then look for "Bryce's Smileys".
Re: Cosmetic Changes

:CD: :Stinky: :Gun: :Hammered :Gun2: :Oh Boy: :Hippy: :Blah: :Oh No: :Johnny: :Rockit: :Moon: :Smoker: :Weaklink:  :1: :Stuck:
Thats how they look on the drop down menu ,just error messages

yea its weird how this forum is built because as gary was mentioning in the addicts forum - if you have a smaller resolution the posted pics will get cut off as well.
I'm not too familiar with phpBB code but i think its because a lot of the divs have zindex values assigned to them.

I need to make it so the user can add any size they want and then have a horizontal scroll bar to see what's not in the viewable browser area?
Re: Cosmetic Changes
yea- i think it just the new phpBB3 that is making weird- the sambas on the earlier version seems to work fine there
samba post with lots of pics

Ahhh, I see that. Not sure about the emoticons... I'll get with Bryce and check into it.
Re: Cosmetic Changes
They were lost when the avatars were lost. Only way I know to put them back is manually..... and I just haven't felt like it
