Car show for the cure July 18th ** EDIT ON MEETING PLACE**

We are going to cruise to a local car show coming up on July 18th. This is not a VW specific show but just a all around car show with all the money raised going to Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. We will meet at my house between 11:00 and 11:30. I will send out an email with my address. Here is the info on the show



Carshow for the Cure

Tutus for tatas is a team of women and men who participate in the Susan G Komen breast cancer 3-day walk. Taking place in Atlanta and other cities nationwide, the breast cancer 3 day is a 3 day, 60 mile walk that provides an opportunity to educate thousands of people about breast cancer, including the importance of early detection.

In an effort to help support the cause and find a cure BUGGY ONE INC will be hosting a carshow with all the proceeds to benefit the spreading of awareness and finding a cure for this disease.

WHAT: Open carshow

Registrants pay a $20 entry fee

Trophies will be given to the top cars

Spectators get in free

Motorcycles welcome

Raffles for prizes from local businesses

Click on the profile link on the gray bar under the ga dubs logo at the top of this page, then click on the avatar tab on the bar that is under the gray bar, and upload the correct size or smaller pic, then you should be all set. BTW welcome to the site.

We are still up in the air about going to Buggin in July, in Decatur, Alabama that weekend. If we don't go to that one we should be able to make it.

Beings it's an open car show and there aren't that many local does anyone object to me showing up in my '39 Chevy and cruising with you guys?

Not a problem at all. I have been wanting to see that car anyways

We decided to stay in town and go to this show instead of going to the VW show in Alabama, so I will see y'all on Saturday.

Looks like the '39 might not make it after all. I started it up and headed for the gas station yesterday and it died on the side of the road. Pulled the carb off and it had a bunch of junk in it. Guess I will be pulling the gas take out. Anyone know of a radiator shop in L'ville that could clean it out for me?

yeah I just had mind done at sims it cost me $125 but they did a great job. I took it down by the one around from Bobbys in Decature.

i had my gas tank dipped and coated for tht price.

Bummed i wont make it sat. Having to go out of town. Buggy ones 5 min from my house

Went to the show at Buggy One today, The Addicts were out in force today!! I think there were 9 cars in the cruise over and eight actually made it! well the ninth finally made it after some quick repair work. Weather was nice and they had alot of really nice cars show up. Here are a few pics:

Nice pictures Darrell. Thanks to everyone that came out on Sat. I know it was a small show but it was a great cause. I hope everyone had a good time. Thanks everybody for stopping and helping out Jason, again . I will post some pictures in a little while.
