Re: Madde the 67 beetle
To sell or not to sell, that is the question? I want to get my bay (Elke) going, but it would be much cheaper to get Madde going, and easier. Then do I go ahead with my first plan, or slam it. First plan was to put in a thing frontend and a gear reduction bus tranny and make a class 11 style streeter/ type 87. So what would you do?

Re: Madde the 67 beetle
Get the bug going, then keep slowly working on the bay, then when you are close to getting the bus finished, you can sell the bug to raise funds for a nice powerplant for the bay.

Re: Madde the 67 beetle
I brought Madde home today. Start tearing into it in the am. Swapping the front beam out the front beam to put in the thing beam, then yanking the tranny to do the bus swap.

Cool, you should be able to have it finished and driving by 6pm then. Get to sleep, you got a lot of work ahead of you!
