Front Windshield seal installed.....

Just wanted to brag on myself for my first windshield install.... My window leaked like a bad beaver damn every time it rained.... was tired of my knees getting wet while driving. It went in so effortless... almost too easy. I used weedeater string to pull the seal over the lip... I really shoulda took pics of the process, but I just dove in and did it in 20 minutes.... bounce

I wouldn't be bragging about this on here. Lots of folks on this website (myself included) break a few, before getting one in. Now that we know how good you are, well all just start putting you to work on ours! Laughing

But seriously, good job for diving in and getting it done. I just got new seals for my bus, hoping to also fix the wet knee syndrome.

OK, I'll Brag I really haven't had an issue with installing any glass. I've done 2 complete beetles, two windows were side pop outs, No rubber mallet, but a lot of palm slapping to get it to move. I guess I have been lucky. When I installed the rear window of the 66, I did note that there was one for sale on craigslist. I'm glad it went well for you.
