More starting issues.
I went to go get grocerys today at walmart, came back to my apartment and realize that i forgot butter to cook the chicken. So I went back out to my car to start it, and I got the dreaded click and no start sound. I just put a new starter in it probably about a month and half ago, so I think the starter is fine. I checked the wires to it and both are snug on there. Could there be teeth missing on the flywheel and every once in awhile it get stuck in one of those spots and does not want to start? I've been having this issues ever since I've had the car and can never seem to figure it out. Push starting on some of these hills in Milledgeville really isn't a issue unless I'm facing up hill.

Re: More starting issues.
Could be the ignition switch itself. They are known to go bad. They are just plastic and wear. I would start there
Re: More starting issues.
I replaced the old switch the same time I replaced the starter. Do you think it can go bad that fast?

Re: More starting issues.
ive got plenty of brand new parts that were defective or bad and did not last long. u can arc the wires that plug in the switch to see if its the switch itself

Re: More starting issues.
There is a way to by pass the switch altogether for testing, I had to do this on mine until I replaced my switch. Look under the back seat, there should be a plastic wire connector. Make sure it's the wire that goes to the starter, unplug it, then take a length of wire and connect the wire leading to the starter to the battery, if it spins the starter, it's the switch.
